kenan_science_library_venue

Kimberly English is an MFA Candidate in Studio Art researching smart textiles through a Carolina Digital Humanities Initiative Fellowship. Her exploration of the relationship between textiles and technology emphasizes research, community outreach, and making, which is supported by the facilities at Kenan Science Library Research Hub & Makerspace and BeAM at Murray Hall. This research connects the smart textiles revolution to the history of textiles, focuses on what it means today, and contemplates what it could mean for the future. Follow along with her exploration at her blog !
