101 Intro to Electronics – Learn about standard components, how to think in time and frequency. Learn how to use common electronics instruments.

July 18, 2017, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
102 Amplifiers, Noise, and Filtering - Learn about noise, and how to amplify and filter signals. The we will build some ampflifiers and filters.

July 19, 2017, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
103 Survey of Sensors – Now that you know how to amplify things, let’s learn how to use a wide range of sensors to measure common physical properties.

July 21, 2017, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
104 Survey of Electromechanical Devices – Now that you know how to detect things, let’s learn how to make things happen! Learn about switches, motors, actuators and drive circuits

July 21, 2017, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
110 Basic Lab Techniques – Take all of the concepts from the previous four workshops and put them together to build a functional device. Along the way. learn construction methods, how to design PC boards, and how to solder.
