BeAM Open Hours and Operations
At this time, all trained UNC affiliates are welcome to enter the makerspaces during open hours, which are listed below. While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to make a reservation for the desktop embroidery machine, ShopBot CNC, laser cutters, industrial embroidery machine and vinyl cutter to help assure access. Make a reservation on one of those tools or areas using the button below.
Fall Operations and Closures:
- All BeAM spaces will close at 5pm on Wednesday, 10/16 and reopen on Monday, 10/21 for fall break
- All BeAM spaces will close at 5pm on Tuesday, 11/26 and reopen on Monday, 12/2 for Thanksgiving break
- Makerspace hours will be adjusted around our fall MakerFest, which will be on Wednesday, 12/18 from 4-6pm at Ram’s Head Rec Center
- All BeAM makerspaces will close at 5pm on Wednesday, 12/18 for winter holiday break
