At this time, all trained UNC affiliates are welcome to enter the makerspaces during open hours, which are listed below. While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to make a reservation for the desktop embroidery machine, ShopBot CNC, laser cutters, industrial embroidery machine and vinyl cutter to help assure access. Make a reservation on one of those tools or areas using the button below.

MAKE A RESERVATION

• The Carmichael Makerspace will be closing at 7pm on Wednesday, April 16th. All Makerspace will be closed on Thursday, April 17th for the Well-Being break.
• The Carmichael and Hanes Makerspaces will remain closed until Monday, April 21st. The Murray Makerspace will be open Friday and Saturday, April 18th and 19th, with normal hours.
• Spring Makerfest will be held on Monday April 28th – all Makerspaces will be closed.
• BeAM will close for the spring semester and summer reset period on Friday, May 9th at 5pm.
• The Murray Makerspace will reopen for summer operations on Monday, May 19th with its summer hours of 12pm-5pm Mon-Fri.
• The Murray Makerspace will close at 5pm on Friday, May 24th in honor of the Memorial Day weekend. It will reopen on Tuesday, May 27th with normal hours.
• The Murray Makerspace will be closed Thursday, June 19th, and reopen Friday, June 20th with normal hours.
• The Murray Makerspace will close at 5pm on Thursday, July 3rd in honor of the Independence Day weekend. It will reopen on Monday, July 7th with normal hours.
